After reading the book, "The Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne, I discovered that world peace is possible but it requires us to change the way we live our lives, the way we take in our surroundings, and the way we experience the world around us. I believe that there is a way to improve drastically the global policies so at least there won’t be famine anywhere. It is known that the production of food it is enough for feeding everybody so we only have to deliver it.
I worked for UNDP around 2 years and that is how I became involved through reading a lot of information regarding several social development problems.
